On Thursday, March 3, at 9:00 a.m., Grandma Mona invites all children ages 3 to 5 to come to “Grandma Mona’s Science Story Time” at the Museum of Nature and Science.
The first Thursday of each month, Grandma Mona comes to the museum to read a story relating to one of the many exhibits in our museum. The stories range in topic from space exploration to desert wildlife to fossils and geology; this month we will read Rabbits, Rabbits, Everywhere: A Fibonacci Tale by Ann McCallum. Afterward we’ll do a topic related activity.
Join Grandma Mona and the staff of MoNaS as we look at the world around us through the lens of children’s literature. No registration required and the event is free of charge.
The museum is located at 411 North Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For additional information, visit the website at: http://las-cruces.org/museums or call (575) 522-3120.
If you need an accommodation for a disability to enable you to fully participate in this event please contact the museum 48 hours prior to the event.
