Navajo Rug Auction Fundraiser SET for November 12 and 13

The popular Navajo Rug Auction fundraiser presented by the Foundation for Las Cruces Museums (FLCM) is making its comeback this fall at noon on Saturday, November 13, in the Center for Spiritual Living at 575 North Main Street in downtown Las Cruces. There will be a Friday evening session, November 12, from 5 to 8 PM for informal appraisals of Native American items (no paintings or kachinas) for a fee of ten dollars ($10) per item. Native-made jewelry will also be available for sale during the session.

The preview of the rugs and other items to be auctioned will be held from 9 AM to 11:30 AM Saturday, and bidding will begin at noon. Entry is free and open to the public.

The Foundation receives a percentage of all sales to help it support the programs of the four Las Cruces City Museums.

For more information on the auction or to contact the Foundation for Las Cruces Museums, please contact the FLCM President at president@foundationlcm.com.
