By becoming a Friend to the Museums, you join the Foundation in demonstrating a steadfast commitment to promoting the arts, sciences, history and culture in Las Cruces. Showing your support through a membership ensures each museum remains a vibrant part of our community. Being a Friend also allows you to be directly involved in the future of the museums. Your energies, time and money will ensure that all four museums continue to develop while presenting exciting and timely exhibits and programs.

Subscription to Smithsonian Magazine.

Smithsonian Affiliate membership card, which offers free or reduced admission to other affiliate institutions nationwide, shopping discounts, and other wonderful benefits, directly from the Smithsonian.

Invitations to exclusive gala events, including previews of major exhibition openings

Volunteer opportunities 

Opportunities to advocate for the museums by keeping in contact with elected officials

The Foundation for Las Cruces Museums is a non-profit and educational organization under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code and formed under NMSA 1978, Section 6-5A-1. Memberships are tax deductible except for the $12 Smithsonian membership fee.
