March 30, 2013 10:00 – 2:00, come to the museum for Nano Days: The Biggest Event for the Smallest Science! The museum staff will be presenting some new activities about nanoscience as well as some old favorites.
NanoDays is part of a nationwide festival of educational programs about nanoscale science and engineering. In nanoscience, individual atoms and molecules are manipulated to create tiny machines that are the size of human cells. Future developments in nanoscience may change the design of many of from car tires to vaccines.
Hours at the museum are Tuesday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 4:30 pm. MoNaS is located at 411 North Main Street, in Downtown Las Cruces next to the Museum of Art and the Branigan Cultural Center.
