Centennial Notes lecture: “Dia de los Muertos in Mexico”

Please join us for the Centennial Notes 2012 History Lecture Series, lecture “Dia de los Muertos in Mexico” on Thursday, November 8 at 1:00 pm by Dr. Christine Eber.

Dr. Eber, Professor Emerita at NMSU, is a cultural anthropologist whose areas of research include art, drugs, gender, religion, women’s studies, writing about culture, and indigenous peoples of Mesoamerica. She is also a board member of the Las Cruces – Chiapas Connection.

The Branigan Cultural Center is located downtown next to the Museum of Art at 501 N. Main Street.  Admission to the program and galleries is free.  Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
