The new Museum of Nature and Science (MoNaS) is now open!
Explore new exhibits including a 280-million-year-old fossilized footprint trackway from the Paleozoic Era, a giant interactive globe providing information about Earth and the solar system and the largest amethyst on display in America. Visit animal friends in the Chihuahuan Desert area, where habitats have been redesigned to allow for better observation of the animals in their natural environment.

Hours at the new museum are Tuesday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 4:30 pm. MoNaS is located at 411 North Main Street, in Downtown Las Cruces next to the Museum of Art and the Branigan Cultural Center. Parking is accessible from Water Street.
