“Digital Manipulation in Art,” Feb. 16, with Abby Osborne at BCC

Join us on Saturday, February 16, 2019, from 1pm to 2pm at the Branigan Cultural Center for a lecture on technology and art by artist Abby Osborne.

Reflecting on the Branigan Cultural Center’s exhibit Lightning Field (artwork by Ken Morgan), Abby Osborne, artist and professor of Digital Graphics Technology at Doña Ana Community College, will give a presentation on technology in art. She will discuss how technology shapes and affects our views on art, challenging us to think about the power of digital manipulation of images through history, aesthetics, and critical thinking.

Admission is free to the Branigan Cultural Center, located at 501 North Main Street. The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4:30pm. For addition information call (575) 541-2154.
