“Dinosaur Train” discusses the Maiasaura Nest

Thursday, March 17, 9 am, ages 3 – 5

Join in the fun with “Dinosaur Train!,” held on the third Thursday of every month. The Museum of Nature and Science invites children ages 3 to 5 to the museum to learn about paleontology, ancient environments, and trains. This collaborative effort between the Railroad Museum and MoNaS will take place on Thursday, March 17, at 9:00 a.m. in the Museum of Nature and Science.

This month we will look at the Maiasaura Nest, different models of eggs, and discuss their shape, size, and color. Children will decorate a “dinosaur” egg to take home. The Railroad Museum will also be providing model trains for our preschoolers to play with! No registration is required and the event is free of charge.

The museum is located at 411 North Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  For additional information, visit the website at: http://las-cruces.org/museums or call (575) 522-3120.

If you need an accommodation for a disability to enable you to fully participate in this event please contact the museum 48 hours prior to the event.
