Join the Museum of Art on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 2:30pm as we watch a video of artist Matt Calderwood providing a guest lecture at the Royal College of Art in London, England, in 2017.
Originally from Northern Ireland, Calderwood is a visual artist based out of London who uses a wide range of objects in his art including concrete, plaster, glass, and plastic, among others, to create an assemblage of precariously balanced structures. He also experiments with the use of light, shadow, and sound in his digital media work.
Calderwood’s sculpture Dam 1 is featured in the Dusk to Dusk exhibition which is on display in the Museum of Art until March 30, 2019.
The museum is located at 491 North Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm and Saturdays from 9am to 4:30pm.
