Fire and Fiber Exhibit through July 2

The Branigan Cultural Center presents Fire and Fiber, an exhibition that brings together local clay and fiber artists. The exhibit will be on view June 3 – July 2, 2016.

Fire and Fiber is a biannual exhibit that showcases the collaborative efforts between members of the Potters’ Guild of Las Cruces and local fiber artists. Fired clay and a fiber medium, such as fabric, paper, wood, or yarn, are combined into each piece. The contrasting materials require creative thinking by the artists and result in unique works of art.
