From the Ground Up XXVIII artists’ panel discussion in the Branigan Cultural Center on Saturday, October 14, 2017
Artists exhibiting in From the Ground Up XXVIII in the Las Cruces Museum of Art will be discussing their work during a panel talk on Saturday, October 14, at 1:30pm, in the Branigan Cultural Center next door to the Museum of Art. Ceramicists Luisa Baldinger, Martha Roditti, Judy Nelson Moore, and Jessica Cunningham will share insights on their conceptual approaches and techniques. The artists make a variety of sculptural and functional works. Admission to the panel discussion and the exhibition is free. From the Ground Up XXVIII is a regional, juried ceramics show, co-hosted by Potters’ Guild of Las Cruces and the Las Cruces Museum of Art. This year’s show features 41 artists exhibiting a total of 83 sculptural and utilitarian ceramic artworks. The exhibition continues in the Museum of Art through Saturday, October 21, 2017.
