Las Cruces Railroad Museum provides activities for people of all ages!

The Las Cruces Railroad museum is hosting several activities in early February for people of all ages to enjoy! Mrs. Prickett’s Story Time will be offered on Thursday, February 9 for children at 11:00 am; Coloring Club for adults will be held on Friday, February 10 at 10:00 am; and the whole family is invited to participate in Family Game Day on Saturday, February 11 at 10:00 am.

On Thursday, February 9, at 11:00 am, join Mrs. Prickett’s Story Time and her delightful puppets as they read books and tell stories. A related activity appropriate for pre-school children will follow the story.

On Friday, February 10, between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon, adults are encouraged to color outside the lines or use unexpected colors! Adults across the country are discovering that this is a fun way to recapture one of the joys of childhood.

On Saturday, February 11, between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon, challenge your family and friends to a round of old-fashioned fun! The museum hosts a variety of old-fashioned games such as Cup-and-Ball Toss toys, Jacks, and Dominos.

The Railroad Museum is located at 351 N. Mesilla Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. For additional information, visit the website at: museums.las-cruces.org or call (575) 647-4480.
