Local author Stephen L. Broughton, Sr. will discuss his novel, Joshua’s Destiny, on Friday, June 7 at 10am at the Branigan Cultural Center. The talk and book signing is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
Based on Mr. Broughton’s premise that, “everything happens for a reason…” this is the story of Dr. Holloway, professor, astronomer and archeologist, commissioned by the Egyptian government to assist in a dig of ancient ruins. What he discovers is an artifact that he feels is going to change civilization. Dr. Holloway and his wife smuggle this object to Las Cruces and, from there, the adventure begins. Join us as Mr. Broughton answers the intriguing question that he poses, “If you were chosen to save mankind, would you?”
