Looking for something to do this Saturday, May 20th? Here is a list of activities happening at your friendly, neighborhood Museums!

Animal Encounter – Birds: Museum of Nature & Science, 10:30am-11:30am. Discover animal from our local area and from around the world. Story Time: Las Cruces Railroad Museum, 11:00am-11:30am. Listen to a story and complete a related activity. Story Time is free and all ages are welcome. No registration required. For information about this program, contact the museum at 575.647.4480 or jobeer@las-cruces.org.

Scientific Fun for Families – Light Factory: Museum of Nature & Science, 11:30am. Bring your curiousity and your family to the museum for a hands-on investigation on Saturdays. These classes aim to encourage family collaboration and provide a basic understanding of scientific concepts. Create with Consciousness: Museum of Art, 2pm-5pm. Ceramic and installation artist Sharbani das Gupta will lead participants through her creative process, discussing new techniques in her art form.
