The Foundation for Las Cruces Museums will be offering limited edition handmade prints by Las Cruces artists at the Downtown Arts Ramble this Friday, September 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Museum Courtyard.
Dozens of small prints are available, unmounted and protected by clear archival plastic bags, for only ten dollars each. Most of the prints are 9 X 12 inches, some smaller, and include relief prints, digital prints, serigraphs, lithographs, and embellished multimedia prints.
Coupons for a 10% discount on framing at the Frame and Art Center will be available with each purchase while supplies last.
In addition, eight larger (framed and unframed) photo silk screen prints of the Museum of Art exterior in the style of Andy Warhol, made by by Seribellum Press artist Joe Barela, will be available for purchase.
A few of the other familiar artists whose work is included in the sale are Sylvia Bowers, Louis Ocepec, Joe Thieren, Cynthia Clark, Sherry Doil-Carter, and Carl Coker, plus many more. Come early for the best selection. 100% of all proceeds go to supporting your local community museums.
