Join us for a discussion of the short story, Growing Up at Tunnel 1 on the Great Northern Was a Wonderful Experience, on September 21 at 11:00 a.m., at the Rail Readers Book Club.
This family history was written by Jim McWhirter and tells the story of growing up next to a Montana railway tunnel during the 1940s. McWhirter’s father worked for the railroad and their experiences give this story a personal feel.
Copies of this work are available at the Railroad Museum.
