Learn about mixtures at this month’s Saturday Family Science at the Museum of Nature & Science, January 4 at 12pm. Make your own natural dye from cochineal bugs and experiment with changing the pH of the mixture to change the color. Then, use chromatography to separate the mixture and create your own chromatography work of art.
The Museum of Nature & Science is located at 411 N. Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm and Saturday from 9am to 4:30pm.
