Saturday Family Science – Frankenstein Scribble Bot, Oct. 6

The Museum of Nature & Science presents, “Saturday Family Science – Frankenstein Scribble Bot,” Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:45am. The program is free and open to the public.

In Mary Shelley’s story, Frankenstein, Victor Frankenstein was a student with a secret science project: he built a person out of dead body parts and brought it to life. At this month’s “Saturday Family Science,” participants will assemble their own “Frankenstein creature” and create a simple robot that draws on its own.

“Saturday Family Science” is offered monthly, encouraging families to work as a team, problem solve, and experiment through participating in a wide range of STEM activities led by museum staff and volunteers.

The museum is located at 411 N. Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4:30pm. For additional information, visit the website at: http://las-cruces.org/museums or call (575) 522-3120.
