Summer has been out of this world at the Museum of Nature & Science. Enjoy one last weekend before heading back to school with the Science of Space Expo, Saturday, August 11, 2018. From 10am-1pm the museum will host astronomy activities from the GSK Science in the Summer™ program. Provided by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and administered through the Las Cruces Museum of Nature & Science this fun and free event will introduce visitors to the sun and the stars, Earth’s moon, and space travel. Learn through fun, hands-on, experiments with sun prints, rockets, the phases of the moon, and more.
Admission to the Las Cruces Museum System is free. The Museum of Nature & Science is located at 411 N. Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm, Wednesday from 10am to 8pm (June – August), and Saturday from 9am to 4:30pm.
