Third, fourth and fifth graders have a wonderful opportunity for learning at the museums over Spring Break this year.
Each day participants will visit a different museum to enjoy a morning of themed activities.

Tuesday, March 26 – Las Cruces Railroad Museum
All participants will learn the beginnings of model building at the historic 1910 Las Cruces Depot. Participants will also learn about different types of railroad communication with the museum’s telegraph.
Wednesday, March 27 – Branigan Cultural Center
Continue the museum experience at the Branigan Cultural Center with an exploration of local crafts including leather stamping, tin punching and felting.
Thursday, March 28 – Museum of Art
Day 3 of camp everyone will get in touch with their inner artist as they paint an abstract painting and build a clay mask to take home.
Friday, March 29 – Museum of Nature & Science
Finish the week with the Museum of Nature & Science to explore the world of sound and music. Everyone will have the opportunity to experiment with sound and make an instrument to take home!
