STEAMpunk – Rachel Louise Carson, April 14, 11:45am

Witness the history of scientific discovery at the Museum of Nature and Science’s “STEAMpunk” program on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 11:45am-12:45pm. This month we will focus on American marine biologist and conservationist, Rachel Louise Carson.

During this one-hour family program will explore the work of Rachel Louise Carson, her studies, marine biology, and pollution conservation. The museum will present a short presentation on her life and work followed by the opportunity to create an underwater viewer from recyclable materials to take home and use to explore marine life whenever you wish.

Admission to the Museum of Nature and Science is free. The museum is located at 411 North Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm. and Saturday from 9am to 4:30pm. For additional information, visit the website at: or call 575.522.3120.
