Jump into spring with classes at the Las Cruces Museum of Art.
Tim Billman’s drawing and painting class meets on Tuesdays from 6pm to 8:30pm. Beginning and experienced students are encouraged to use drawing and painting techniques in innovative ways. Current museum exhibitions are used as a starting point for meaningful compositions.
Portrait painting with Greg Decker takes place on Saturday afternoons beginning March 16. Students begin with working with graphite and pastels and progress to working with oils.
On Thursday afternoons, Dorothy Zitzler teaches hand-building ceramics for adult beginners. This is your opportunity to play with clay to create functional and decorative pieces for the home!
Children’s classes include ceramics with Ms. Zitzler on Tuesday afternoons and a class especially for home-schoolers that runs on Thursday afternoons from 2pm to 3:30 PM. Homeschoolers’ Museum Adventures is taught by Adriana Fierro.
