What’s Your Las Cruces and Las Cruces Memory Lane at the BCC

Join us Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10am to 1pm for a collaborative event presented by What’s Your Las Cruces? and Las Cruces Memory Lane.

What’s Your Las Cruces? is a Branigan Cultural Center project that seeks the community’s input to develop an exhibit about Las Cruces. Las Cruces Memory Lane is a community based Facebook page started by Dan Flores where Las Cruces residents post historic photographs and share stories of the Mesilla Valley. Both projects aim to highlight the history of Las Cruces through photographs and stories provided by the community.

The Branigan Cultural Center will have stations to digitize your photographs and documents, photograph family heirlooms, record stories, and more. Bring a flashdrive and take home digital copies of your family archives! Visitors will also get the opportunity to talk to Dan Flores about his Facebook page. The information and images provided will not be accessioned into the Museum Collection but may be featured in an exhibit about Las Cruces and Las Cruces Memory Lane Facebook page.

Admission is free to the Branigan Cultural Center, located at 501 N. Main Street. The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4:30pm. Enjoy special summer evening hours when the museum is open until 8pm on Wednesdays.
