The Las Cruces Museum System is hosting a special panel discussion about “Women in STEM,” featuring six women from NASA and White Sands Missile Range at the Museum of Nature & Science on Saturday, February 24 from 2-4pm. The Museum is located at 411 N. Main Street in Las Cruces. A free movie screening of the movie, “Hidden Figures, ” will also be held at the Rio Grande Theatre on Tuesday, February 27 at 7pm.
Join us for a frank discussion about the challenges facing women in science, technology, engineering and math with panelists Janae Roberts, Prudence Nicklaus, Susan Harper, Pamela Egan, Karla James, and Taffy Miller. The discussion will focus on their journeys, trials, and triumphs as they have worked to become respected experts in their fields.
