Ancient Graffiti or Future Rock Art? Panel Discussion for PictoGraff: The Art of Warprayer, NMSU Mus

“PictoGraff: The Art of Warprayer” highlights the historical value of wall art and expressions of the Indigenous mind. Join us for a panel discussion “Ancient Graffiti or Future Rock Art” at the University Museum in Kent Hall on Friday, May 4 at 5pm.

Arrowsoul artists Joseph Sullivan, UNEK, Rogue, Zyme One and Neoglyphix will discuss the links between ancient rock art and the current public art movement. This panel discussion will be followed by a reception and live art demonstration. On Saturday, PictoGraff continues at the Branigan Cultural Center at 9am as arrowsoul artists create a community mural with a live painting demonstration.

The Branigan Cultural Center is located at 501 N Main Street in Las Cruces. Admission to the museums is free and the museums are open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4:30pm.
