Art in the Detail: 20th Century Masters of Photography, featuring works from the Syracuse University Art Galleries, opens in the Museum of Art on Friday, November 3, and continues through Saturday, January 20, 2018. An opening reception will be held on Friday, November 3, from 5pm to 8pm. The exhibition highlights a selection of photographs from the 20th century, exploring texture, light, and objects. Included are masters Imogene Cunningham, Aaron Siskind, Wynn Bullock, and Barbara Morgan
Also on exhibit will be From the Collection: From the Ground Up; Two Decades of Ceramic Art. Ceramic works purchased from “From the Ground Up” exhibits from 1996 to the present will be displayed. Fifteen artists from the Rocky Mountain region of the U.S. will be represented, including Las Cruces artists Mari Blacker, Jan Preston Archey, and Suzanne Kane.
