Dinos A to Z Every Friday at 3 at MoNaS

Dinos A to Z make their way to the Museum of Nature & Science!  Every Friday afternoon at 3:00 pm, families can learn about dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures that roamed the earth long ago.  Each dinosaur discussion is accompanied by a hands-on experience with fossils or replica casts.  This program is free to the public and registration is not required.

In September, we will be discussing:

  1. September 6, 2013     Quantassaurus: A short, stocky herbivorous dinosaur from Australia

  2. September 13, 2013   Raptorex: The “Robber King” dinosaur

  3. September 20, 2013   Sauropelta: An armored dinosaur from the Cretaceous Period

  4. September 27, 2013   Troodon: One of the smartest dinosaurs ever!

MoNaS is located at 411 North Main Street. For additional information, visit the museums’ website at: las-cruces.org/museums or call (575) 522-3120. If you need an accommodation for a disability to enable you to fully participate in this event please contact the museum 48 hours before the event.
