2016 SPRING BREAK CAMPS at the Museums
The Las Cruces Museum System has opened registration for our 2016 Spring Break Camp. This year we are offering two camps: Hot Air Balloons and The Human Body. Registration is required for each camp and is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. If paying with a credit card please sign up at the Museum of Art. Registration ends March 8, 2016. March 15 – 19: Hot Air Balloons
$25 fee, grades K-3, Tuesday – Friday, 8 am – 12 pm, Saturday 8 am – 10 am
Up, Up and Away! Join us for a week of fun activities with the museums and learn all about hot air balloons! Explore the history of these airships and take part in interactive experiments to help understand the science behind how they work. All participants will build a model hot air balloon to launch at a special Saturday morning event with their friends and family!

Explore the human body at the Museum of Nature & Science in this fascinating, hands-on experience focusing on bones, brains, blood and microbes! Classes are a combination of discussion, hands-on exploration and dissection.
